I mean you want me to give a little? Okay, here's my give: I'm cynical, but at my heart I'm an optimist. I'm dumb enough to vote for your Party on the off chance the promises you make to me about helping marginalized people, ending the imperialism, and reigning in capital are real and actionable, and I'm even dumb enough to forgive you for building the police state if you promise to dismantle it. I know you're liars but I can't HELP but take the tiny chance you'll do it.
