I mean saying the Democratic Party establishes policy positions via focus groups and polling, so called "popularism" is also bullshit and just tells me you read and take Matty Yglesias seriously for some unkown reason. What about the polling showing the Dem base overwhelmingly supports free public healthcare? What about the polling showing the Dem base supports an arms embargo on Israel? Would you like me to keep going because I literally can do this all fucking day.
