@melroy the law does not require those popups, they are dark patterns to coerce people into agreeing to non essential cookies. Website operators would be free to a) honor Do Not Track settings of browsers to auto disable non essential cookies or b) only use cookies for which use is justified without approval or c) not use cookies at all. @clemens
