@supersingular @noratrieb So you're telling me that if I need to exaustively search in a 2^64 space, I only need 15'000$, that's crazy cheap! This also imply that a state-level malicious actor with a budget of 150'000'000 can crack an 80 bits password. Gosh!

@robinm @supersingular (edited)password hashes are billions of operations, so you need another 1000 there in either the hour or the amount of money
