While I listened to yet another talk by a textbook startup bro yesterday, I noticed that he kept highlighting his own accomplishments which were, at best, very loosely related to the topic he was supposed to talk about. This triggered me, but I couldn't tell why exactly. This second, it came to me. I just don't like it when the messenger thinks they are more important than the message they are supposed to convey.
