walked into a food court chasing the high of a sign advertising empanadas and the empanadas were TWELVE DOLLARS EACH. this country cannot continue

i can still sweet talk my way to $4 coffees in most cafes but no force on god's green earth could get me an affordable empanada. and the $2 tamales from my youth? unthinkable
