Today I finished binging Rachel Maddow's 8-part podcast series, "Ultra," about the insurrectionists who planned to violently overthrow the U.S. government in the late 1930s and early 1940s. They had backing from Nazi Germany, had support from top congressional Republicans, and promoted fascist ideals in support of racist and antisemitic goals.
