@jonmsterling @olynch @albertcardona @elduvelle 60 years ago, Franco’s Spain was running narrow gauge, different from the rest of Europe. There were still steam engines all over Europe and there was no train to Berlin because it was behind a wall. So, no, it wasn’t better 60 years ago.
