Yeah something being illegal doesn’t tend to stop people ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ask any government which tried doing a prohibition on your topic of choice :3

With how monitored the Chinese internet is I would have assumed for there to be a lot less examples. A lot less. Maybe it’s “illegal” in that they turn a blind eye most of it, unless you’re trying to do something like bring in 69 hentai books through customs lol. I had to look it up but yeah, the official stance is that it’s illegal.
