@hareldan @nickrsan I was at a remote sensing event with a representative from GEE a couple months ago, they quoted GEE adds about a petabyte of new data every month. Also, from talking to other conference goers I got the feeling that nobody trusts GEE to stick around, which prompts the question as to why researchers are using the tool if they can't count on the service to stick around, or what happens when GEE changes something on the backend and reproduction would yield different results.
