because they don't really think trans people are their agab, they think they are vermin who shouldn't exist, let alone live a happy life with a partner

They think trans women are gender-nonconforming men which is basically the worst thing imaginable to them. They are barely aware than trans men exist, it's a bit hard to spin a hateful narrative out of them that people actually care about.
