Nomen Nescio friends & me went a-hunting in the 3rd district of Vienna. Expected to discover another #SIGINT station on the Russian embassy to Austria. Surprise: we found a sat relay station

🧵 2/more #SIGINT This double reflector motorized Ku-band dish - aka Gregorian - has a transmitter PA and points to some sat ~ 15 ° west, +/- 2 degrees. Equipment most likely from Norsat, Canada as in use on the Russian UN embassy in Vienna
