this morning i did some minor tinkering to get a slightly bitrotted research codebase working again :) this kind of repair work feels a lot like darning a sock or fixing a small mechanical object; it's so satisfying

@chrisamaphone ooooooh you almost inspired me to try to get my old grad school projects working again ... hmmm i wonder nowadays with webassembly and such whether it's possible to host old stuff in-browser. kinda like how internet archive has video game emulators running classic games
