@lambdacalculus Absolutely! I think Neocities is a great project, too, and we should probably be hyping that shit a lot more than it is.
I do think we should also make sure that we're clear that some of these protocols are great, but are mostly suited for rag-chewing rather than discussing your sensitive information.
I'd love to participate in this.

@manchicken I feel like this also follows on with the Pirate Box talk from HOPE. The small web movement is very much community and hacker driven, and also a huge "fuck you" to the overly enshittified and overly corporate web. No age verification. No ID required. No credit cards. No subscriptions. Just weirdness and discovery and community.
