@foxyoreos @hatch_stir I think that labeling for outsiders to the community is most important in a public space like this. "Keywords" or "inside jargon" is probably going to miss a lot of people so having common language that calls out attention to what it might be is helpful to others.

@Taris @hatch_stir yeah, this is also my concern whenever I try to get cute with content warnings. A huge part of how I choose tags is based around "would somepony expect muting this tag to mute this post". It's a big balancing act.. I like with Mastodon that I can clarify things in CWs, that makes things easier. But it's part of the reason "niche" isn't landing for me I think? I want to still really communicate what's happening.
