@iamlayer8 I know JSON is more popular, and XML was heavily over-emphasized in previous decades, but smart, knowledgeable people I generally respect greatly have voiced a strong preference for XML, so there must be something to it. Maybe it's a bit like Markdown vs. TeX: Markdown is much preferable for noobs and/or simpler needs, but once you get deep into book layout, you just can't do it with markdown. You need something like TeX. (Disclaimer: I'm a markdown addict. XD )
