    Sometimes it can be less heavy because people crosspost their thing and you just need to block ‘em. But often they are just reposted and damn if i hate seeing the same post 4 times even if i like it

    Half of these problems would be solved with a tagging system like on Reddit, then you could just block by tags I’m pretty sure PieFed rolled out a tagging system, but clients haven’t caught up yet

    There would still be shitty political memes in shitpost, not a doubt in my mind. Lemmy, like reddit, can be used for propaganda, whether you agree or disagree with that propaganda.
