@derek @greem my doctors were hesitant to do a PSA test when I was 40 (i'm now 49) because of "alarmism" or something, but when I told them my Dad had aggressive prostate cancer at 52 (surgery and eventually cured) they have been good about checking at every single blood test. They don't DRE though-- which I'm not going to argue about!

@bransonturner @derek Previous family history is always a good thing to wave at doctors. I found out post chemo that I have a thing called Lynch Syndrome, so my kids get a double whammy in future. Prostate *and* bowel surveillance!
