@greem I am lucky - my family doctor has had me do PSA and DRE since I was 50. When the PSA numbers reached 5 they referred me to a urologist. After 3 years of active monitoring, an MRI and biopsy showed a tumor that resulted in my decision to have the prostate removed. Surgery was 2 years ago and so far all is well.

@johnvan54 Glad to hear it! 18 months, ADT and chemo plus another drug every day for me. Still here, bumbling on, waiting for the inevitable day when it bites harder. It's not stopping me doing things though.
