@greem thanks for posting this. I had a slightly elevated PSA and MRI and sampling showed early stage cancer. Treatment "Active surveillance ". Rather than wait for the cancer to grow and spread and require radiation or chemotherapy I was fortunate to be able to have it removed. Now 9 months cancer free and urologist "ecstatic ".

    @ArchaeoIain Many congratulations, my man. You must also be ecstatic! One of my oldest and closest friends found the same thing after I mentioned my diagnosis in 2024, they also opted for surgery and are similarly free of That Thing. I was given a pretty stark choice - do nothing and die fairly quickly, or have some rather robust drug and chemo treatment and live longer. How long? Good question but I've apparently reacted very well. 🤞
