@greem@cyberplace.social AFAIK the check with a finger is not recommended anymore, but instead they check your blood for prostate specific values.

@nyovaya it depends on the doctor/health system/country etc. There's a big debate in the UK, periodically, about the use of PSA testing (blood tests) as a screening measure due to the potential for false positives. Ridden a bike or a horse recently? Could be elevated. My own experience has been pretty grim, so even if prostate owners have a discussion with their doctor about it, that's something.
