@xahteiwi FWIW, the course builder project's home page starts with "[t]his page has been archived for historical reference sake. engEDU is no longer actively working on these projects", and the list of "our courses" have all been upgraded to 404-compliance.
So I guess the answer is "not on purpose"?

@gabe What's your reference here? I've found http://code.google.com/p/course-builder/ which redirects to https://code.google.com/archive/redirect/a/code.google.com/p/course-builder which points to https://www.google.com/edu/openonline/index.html which redirects to https://edu.google.com/ which doesn't tell me anything about where Course Builder went.
