I'm not going to argue, but if you go around talking about how Catholics have to obey the Pope, you clearly: 1) are not Catholic 2) don't know many Catholics 3) aren't even a mediocre student of Catholic history Like half of Catholicism is stuff Catholics believe in direct defiance of dogma. Hell, the Pope couldn't speak infallibly on matters of dogma until almost the Twentieth Century, and there are still a lot of people who have issues with that. Obey the Pope? Which one? Sorry, I really don't think a lot of people know just how silly Catholicism is. It takes itself incredibly seriously, but that doesn't stop it from being brain-shittingly stupid and goofy even as it's pants-shittingly terrifying how powerful such a stupid and goofy thing is and has been for way too long. Catholicism is what happens when you let humans alone for too long. Jesus will come back and go, "Aw shit Dad, we've got Catholics." I say this as nicely as possible to the Catholics in the crowd, but you belong to Six Dogmas in Search of a Faith.
