@signalapp Sure, just change the service to allow users to register without handing you their phone numbers or any other form of real life identifying information and I'll donate $100 on the same day the update drops! I'm not registering, sending a single cent or recommending anyone use this over https://matrix.org until then 👍
This is not a new complaint (https://community.signalusers.org/t/registration-without-a-phone-number/2222) and the fact that we are almost in the big '26 with no plans in sight to change this should raise some eyebrows
