@heathborders @signalapp whilst not a complete disaster (as I've never used Signal solely to store important info and always assumed the messages were ephemeral, its always backed up somewhere else), I've never got the message backup to work when changing devices, it just locked up and didn't seem to be storing/transferring anything..
