Tim Snyder eigentlich immer lesenswert, aber diesmal besonders. Er ahnt, dass Trump nach Vorbild Russlands einen (vermeintlichen) Anschlag Irans in den USA nutzen könnte, um dort als Antwort eine Militärdiktatur durchzusetzen.

Consider the 1999 false flag terrorist attacks in Russia, the bombing of apartment buildings by the Russian secret services, which began a chain of events that allowed Putin begin his march towards dictatorship. Self-terror is a Putinist strategy, and it worked."
