As it happens, a year BEFORE I did that work, the CIA and others in the IC released an assessment saying they believed Russia had aspired to help Trump win (among other things).
The sitting CIA director is now retconning that conclusion. A tradecraft review of the assessment found it should have been a *moderate* confidence assessment -not high- but didn’t dispute the conclusion.
Ratcliffe is spinning it as ‘destroying the “Russiagate hoax”’ anyway. (Not sure what the term means now)

The problem is that the Senate’s report came out years after the CIA’s assessment - based on even MORE evidence! So the CIA director is simply acting as if it never happened.  Once again this Administration is trying to rewrite history before our eyes. Substack cranks and right wing propagandists are helping them along. They’re going so far as to pretend Russia wanted HILLARY to win. Pay attention to what they’re doing here.

@Noupside I am a long way away, whew. But I can see from here how Trump won because he is better at politics, a lot better, than his opposition.
