no one was talking about cars or planes. we're talking about nuclear power risks. do not derail. answer the question.

YOU were the one who started talking about risks, so you can't expect people to take you seriously, if you complain when I use established facts to put those risks in context. I note that coal kills 25 to 30 people per Terawatt-hour of energy, worldwide. Guess how many people die per Terawatt-hour of nuclear energy? I'll give you a clue: it's less than one. By any sane measure, nuclear is way, way less risky than coal (or natural gas). Not perfect, but hugely better.
