@Tattie I don't know. It sure felt to me like I chose to be nonbinary when I was a little kid. I remember it well. But I really don't know if the burst of emotion that powered it was from my sense of justice or some primeval sense of gender. I've started to wonder if that was connected to what I've felt ever since puberty started or if it was just coincidence that it more or less matched up. All I know is that it's not a choice now. The dysphoria is certainly not a choice.
