@hyde @Larvitz thank you for thinking of me! the 'V' copy paste I accidentally figured out by being just as annoyed, can relate to the experience :D In insert mode I still habitually press Ctrl-k to kill a line, so now I'm discovering the digraph entry. Very nice, too!
