And crikey that coffee cost NZ$7.50! About $2 more than anywhere else. Luckily that's only about A$6, par for the course in Melbourne.

@timrichards Is coffee really AU$6.00..? how big of a serving are we talking here? For comparison sake: a 475 ml cup of "americano" here costs on average $55.00 which could make it around AU$4.50 (+/- 10%). Specialty coffee houses rise that price a bit to around $90.00 averaged which would make it $7.20 (+/- 10%).

@timrichards Regular cafeteria coffee, the traditional kind (not chain) is about $40.00 on average (AU$3.20 (+/- 10%)).
