@castastrophe The proposed shorthand syntaxes are definitely tricky because the custom property data types and initial value should have very flexible syntaxes. However, I really liked the idea of being able to declare multiple properties with the same defaults in one @ property rule, so I'm glad to see that was adopted, only a few years after @chriskirknielsen suggested it! That will reduce a lot of verbosity when declaring a bunch of colors or lengths where it's OK to share initial value.
