Or you could ignore those services and watch indie stuff instead and pay for those directly
There's art out there that's worth buying. You don't have to pirate anything
Also, who cares if you don't see the latest prequel or sequel or reboot or preboot or requel by Disney? Be proudly out of the loop
If you don't watch big streamers' releases at all, you give them even less power. And if you buy indie, you give their competition power. You break the monopoly.

This is the ideal and one of the reasons I watched Youtube in the first place. I've found amazing stuff over time, like Veritasium, but I miss oldschool scripted media. Especially calmer stuff with fewer cuts. So much modern cinema is too fast. If anyone has any recommendations for indies, I'd love to hear them.
