@emery I like how the stripes turn to a square and there's sort of a raised cross pattern. It makes it stand out from all the other plain round hats out there. Too bad it takes more work.

@jbayes I admit, I'm amused that it takes nearly as much time to do the four-point decreases like that as it does to just hand knit the whole hat crown :)
