@fossdd oh as for price: i don't remember exactly how much i got it for anymore... it was definitely above 1500zł, back in 2022/2023 (actually, i think the i7 model i got was over 2000zł). divide by 4 to get the rough price in euros. it was used ("poleasingowy") but in pretty good condition... other than the pen input being broken (it would "jump" erratically on the left side of the screen; i thought it was a pen issue at first, but i got a replacement and it did the same thing - it turned out to be a touchscreen issue). luckily the screen is very easy to replace (see "taking it apart" point in my long post)
the pen input is wacom, not sure of the AES version since this information is stupid obscure

@fossdd the benefit of having a normal laptop, at least for me, is that i have one machine for *everything*. taking notes on a lecture? i can pop open libreoffice writer (my beloathed... it deserves its own rant) if i just need to write or rnote (<3) if i need to draw something. programming labs? i pop open kate and can just edit the code on my own machine (they let us do that thankfully). boring lecture or i'm just feeling too tired to take in information that day? tab over and scroll through social media or work on some programming project (you may consider this a downside if you like to focus on your work... :p). and at the end of the day i come back home and all my notes and work are there
