@leighelse I've been very close to doing that, or taking sandpaper (or even better, a file) to my older barely-adjustable electric desk, to file off the front edge that constantly digs into my wrists and forearms. The only reason I haven't yet is that I know that edge is currently covered by two intact veneers. Sanding them will destabilize those, leading to potentially more dangerous + uncomfortable sharp shards + splinters coming from that unsealed (+ now compromised) edge. And triggering that just before a potential shutdown of global logistics seems dangerous. Hence, i now have a sheet of packing foam that I keep meaning to figure out a way to securely attach in place over the offending thing (It was because of this desk that my next one has a rounded front edge, and is fully made of wood - so that even if their rounding wasn't done / good enough, I could go in and fix it) --- Also, because of this desk, I'm now hyper aware of all products that come with sharp edges + their potential to be uncomfortable to be around, while falling in love with any wooden furniture with flowing rounded edges (yes, I saw such a bedroom cabinet set in Harvey Norman the other weekend!)
