the AI "boom" gives orgs a false sense of security about not having to hire juniors anymore if the AI revolution works out in favor of AI, you're still gonna need senior staff to verify the code and do due diligence where are you finding them and when are you training those when you've eliminated your supply of juniors? if the AI bubble bursts, you all of a sudden are in dire need of juniors, who are either gone, really expensive or cant be trained by your now deskilled seniors
