@alienmelon@mastodon.social I am amazed that you were able to write such a coherent timeline, and that you were able to keep being strong for so long. Sadly, I am not amazed at the actions of your rapist, or the reporter. Believing survivors and respectfully supporting survivors are unfortunately two different things. 🫂

@alienmelon@mastodon.social damn and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming. Worst part of all is that I'm sure any of this would've happened if money wasn't involved. They weren't getting anything from not, just, deleting that post, besides the clicks. And the clicks are what values how "good" a journalist is, by the basis of how much money they bring. Maybe i'm dragging this to the realms of "it's always capitalism", but tbh how the fuck can someone ignore a victim for so long otherwise?
