Report by Noor about toxic big-tech philanthropy: "Over the past decade, millions of dollars from the Silicon Valley Community Foundation (SVCF) flowed to internationally active anti-rights organizations, funding initiatives from anti-LGBTQI campaigns in Latin America to anti-abortion legal challenges in Eastern Europe and “sexual purity” programs in Africa. At the same time, SVCF funded organizations promoting sexual and reproductive rights, highlighting how philanthropic ecosystems can sustain structurally opposed political projects. This report traces those flows, grounding the analysis in case studies from West and East Africa, and examines how funding reshapes political ecosystems, normalizes certain agendas, and redraws the boundaries of what is considered moderate or radical.
