My post was mainly about Linux users having to actually think about what display server they're using to make sure they'll get the best performance (or compatibility, even) being a huge plus for Windows, where you don't have to think about it, well, at all. Funnily enough, the fractional scaling stuff I mentioned a little while ago plays into this as well since X11 has better compatibility but good luck if you have a 27-inch 4K display.
