@mvilain @jeff @raiderrobert @pluralistic Another option when you know its a spam call, is to play the "Disconnect tone" into your telephone from an external device. The tone was 3-pitches, followed by "The number you have called has been disconnected ..."

@MHowell @jeff @raiderrobert @pluralistic I was gonna make this my Answering Machine message since it's for my VOIP landline. No one ever calls it and the reason I kept it for 30 years was originally because it was a POTS line. Those don't exist in SF any more, so I'm seeing less of a reason to keep it.
