@FediThing Unfortunately, there is one political persuasion that you forgot in this: people paid off by oil execs.
Sadly, that's most of them.
They don't care if hurricanes rage across the globe destroying everything and everyone or if nukes are dropped tomorrow. Today they bought a new (gas guzzling) yacht and can party hard. Everything is someone else's problem.

@nazokiyoubinbou Indeed, the only people pushing for oil dependence are being paid off by oil companies or holding shares in oil companies or wanting to sell oil themselves. But that's perhaps more outright corruption than political persuasion 😁
