I’d argue that the id.Buzz actually existing makes more alike the old busses from the 50s and 60s.

I think it hits the right demography, but other than that the ID.Buzz is basically an SUV with a different exterior. Modern safety regulations probably disallow the horizontal steering wheel from the original bus, but that's definitely one of the things I miss in modern vans/busses.
