My neighbors dog hears a leaf fall in my yard in the middle of the night semi-frequently and just barks. For hours. They do nothing about it, they just let the dog sit outside and bark.
I had never considered shooting a dog before that happened 7 or 8 times, going to be honest.
Edit: to be clear, I would never actually harm my neighbors dog — when you're up til 5 in the morning because your neighbors won't control their animal... You won't be emotionally or mentally stable.

Samesies. At least once covid hit my neighbors were forced to stay home and realized how bad their dog was and keep him inside...sometimes. Could try to keep a journal with times he barks, length of time, and maybe recordings, then send them to animal control of that's a thing where you are? Channel hatred into that!
