weird question for the cellular and network nerds:
Device:
phone ISMI only, no IEMI SIM or ESIM, no active service plan. 802.11 Wi-Fi is off.
emergency notifications can show up via the LTE ISMI link. that's data down to the phone.
can that be used to send data back up (just for the moment, set aside the 'where' or to whom part) very small files in the kb size or snippets of something loaded into part of the device memory register if it's accessed by something with that level or capability of system level access like MDM/EDR/RAT with a slow drip ?
I'm thinking this is a niche thing, if possible?
there's a significant amount of variables on the memory access, but the main part of the question is: can the pingable ISMI be used in this configuration of radios and device ID to send data up though a cell tower?
I feel like I should know this already from other previous things.
