In the early days of the commercial web, iVillage was a hugely important place for me. It was a space by and for women. I would love an oral history of iVillage. I wonder if anyone has written about it 🤔

Other spaces that were important for me: Speak Up, Typophile, and of course Alphabettes (which still exists). One thing I appreciate about the Alphabettes book (forthcoming) is that it constitutes a record of our shared digital experience.
