Because it’s never about money. If we take each billionaire and distribute their wealth equally, I’ll be like $1000/person. It could be life changing for some, but in reality it won’t change much.

US billionaires have $1.5 trillion in assets. Firstly if distributed across 350m Americans this would be $4.2k. But in no way would the assets or wealth be liquidated in such a stupid manner. Taking a percentage of this would provide universal health in the US whilst maintaining the golden egg.
