As useful as it might be to distinguish between traditional code and AI by referring to them as "deterministic" and "probabilistic" systems, it's important to remember that "determinism" really just means "we sanded off the inconvenient bits." Don't believe me? Ask Heisenberg. We live in a strictly probabilistic universe. No exceptions.
