The thing is, if you purchase a receiver, lower, or full gun, you are forced anyways to go through NCIS at whatever FFL you delivered to. You are getting sodomized either way.

True, but I don't want to willingly give even more info to another information collection agency. My aim is to give as little information as possible, and not make it easier for companies to get it. And I sure as hell am not doing that for an upper, ammo, or any accessories.

in some states where you have a CCW you don't have to go through a background check. I don't remember which ones exactly though
