Just FYI, I'm planning on migrating *this* account (@RL_Dane) over to Polymaths (@rl_dane@polymaths.social) at some point in the next few days or weeks. (/Il faut préciser!/, I know!)
I still love the Fosstodon community and all of the groovy nerdy stuff that goes on here. The local feed is probably the best I've ever seen in terms of quality *and* quantity.
But trying to maintain two identities is making me a *wee* bit cross-eyed. XD

@41de1771a0318a3d9b9af9ff1a0c3c7b906867ca6d4e5d4335a8bf960b1d3243 @rl_dane@polymaths.social Depends on the server software. Mastodon lets you point one account to the other, and your followers migrate to the new server. GoToSocial now supports the same feature. I can't speak to the others.
